I've had this tall skinny mirror in my bedroom for... oh... 10 years or so?
But I've never loved it. In fact, I was about to send it to the nearest thrift store in trade of a nice trendy upgrade, when I started browsing online for ideas.
Well, that sealed that deal. Everything I loved involved rustic wood. I could do that!
So I gathered up some scrap wood and made this instead.
The end result is a mirror I finally LOVE, barely costing me anything at all!
I really should have named this post, "Why it took me 10 years to fall in love with the same mirror..." because I am smitten with this end result! It's quirky, goes well my barn door headboard, and... well, it's pretty one-of-a-kind if I do say so myself.
Do you have a mirror this idea would work on?
Here's how I did it...
