My husband had me redecorate his Man Cave, after painting, making curtains, and making him a Game of Thrones canvas(still need to be finished completely)... the love seat definitely needed some throw pillows. I couldn't find anything manly enough so I decided to make some. I wanted his room to look manly sophisticated (Ralph Lauren/Eddie Bauer type of look) but still a place where he can relax and watch the game.
I used plaid fabric left over from my DIY curtains, calico vinyl and witch stitchery.
I think they came out great! On to my next project
I found this love seat at the Goodwill here for $15...score! It had no stains or rips so it's perfect for his man cave. It definitely needed personality though.
I used the same fabric that I made his curtains out of, vinyl, and broke out the iron and some no sew tape.
Sorry that I forgot to take a photo of the process but this is how I did it.
I laid the pieces inside out and placed the tape between the 2 fabrics on 3 sides . The remaining side I ironed a crease. Afterwards I flipped the fabric right side out, inserted the pillows and then ironed it closed.
Here is the final results of the pillows.

oh Cool! I'm working on a window seat made of leather and wondered how I might make a rounded bolster -- this might be the answer!
