Inspired by pricey pillow covers in the Pottery Barn Store
I decided to use a $3 pillow cover and acrylic DecoArt Paint I had on hand to make the painted pumpkin pillow cover
This is the pillow cover that was the inspiration for my painted version. I love the fact that it is a cover that can be take off and changed depending on the season.
I used a pencil to sketch the pumpkin shape on the pillow. I found the pillow covers at Michaels for $3 and purchased a few of them to have on hand. I plan to change the covers out each season.
Use different shades of the same paint color to add depth.
