A CUTE, EASY, FALL CRAFT WITH 1X3'S OR 2X4'S....
We had some extra 1x3's left over from our fence project so I had seen this idea before & decided to give it a try. I had my husband cut a few of the pieces so I could have a group of 3. Then my girlfriend & I got busy on our crafty Monday. We first painted them orange then sanded them lightly. Then we took some brown & dry brushed it on lightly. Then we took some super glue she had bought from the Dollar Store & we glued the pieces together then put a rubber band around them. Next I had an old garden stake that I cut for the stem, we painted green, sanded and lightly brushed brown on too. Then glued it to the center blocked. The rougher the wood the cuter the pumpkin we found out. Just added some moss, twine, flower & leaves & their done. We both completed them with stuff we already had around so it cost nothing. We have added this on our project list now. Rabbits for Easter & we really liked the idea of 3 of them done together for The 4th of July.
