Canning Ring Pumpkins

You have seen these on Pinterest, canning ring pumpkins right? I finally got my hands on a box of rings headed to the trash and here is my take on the cute fall craft.

there is also a more detailed blog link at the bottom with many more photos

choose same size rings and layout in order of how you like.. eg silver gold silver gold then secure around center with a pipe cleaner, twist to tighten.

this works easier then ribbon but I used it as well and it adds a pretty look

for fun additions to your home spray paint some a pretty color and add to your mix. you can choose any color that works with your home decor.

another fun look is washi tape circled around the ring or decopauge pretty napkins.. the sky is the limit for decorating the rings

to give a fantasy stem cut length of cinnamon sticks and hot glue in the middle , lengths of branches would work well too but I dont have access to that so cinnamon sticks it was, plus they give a bonus smell too :)

then just lengths of jute twine and wrap around the stem letting tendrils curl and you have cute fall decor created from items that may be around your home or headed to the trash
