DIY $1 Painted Pumpkins for cheap and easy fall decor for your home.

Last year I couldn’t decide what colors I wanted to decorate with for the first fall in our new home.

I had muted fall tones and lots of neutrals in our kitchen and then slowly transitioned the colors and vibrancy as you moved through the house into our living room.

This year I rearranged everything and decided to add both muted neutral fall tones, as well as, pastel fall colors.

One of the least inexpensive ways to do this is with DIYS!

Materials:

Cheap $1 Pumpkins

Acrylic Paint

Paint Brushes

Sticks

Faux Leaves ( I used the leaves off of these flowers)

Hot Glue Gun & Glue Sticks

Instructions:

1. First, mix the paint to your desired color on a paper plate then paint the top 3/4 of the pumpkin.

2. Let dry, then paint the lower 1/4 of the pumpkin.

3. Let dry and repeat the above process for a 2nd or even 3rd coat if desired.

4. Once the paint is thoroughly dried, poke a hole in the top of the pumpkin (with the stick) and hot glue the stick into the hole.

5. Then hot glue the faux leaves onto the top/center of the pumpkin next to the stem. Let cool/dry.

Have fun decorating!
