I am not much of a bright orange color to decorate with person she's that was a mouthful lol. Most of my decor is neutral with splashes of Fall color. Don't get me wrong I love it in others homes I just can't live with it on a daily basis, weird I know. I know you have all seen the little plastic pumpkins at the dollar store. Well they are just the right size for a garland.

Dollar store pumpkins

I grabbed two bags of four I wanted seven pumpkins for this garland.

Handles off

First I cut all the handles off and then there will be a little button like tab left. That I was able to cut off with my scissors too.

Painting

These took four coats of white chalk paint. And then I flipped them over to do the bottoms.

Adding jute

I decided to add jute to hold the pumpkins up and to add a little handle. Just measure out your length you need and be sure to add enough to make a handle on each. I hot glued on each side towards the tops. I left about four inches between each pumpkin.

I added some Spanish moss inside each pumpkin to give it that Fall feel.

Finished garland

I am loving it!! It goes so well with my farmhouse vintage style.

Closer view

This was such a fun project to do.
