Dollar Store Pumpkin Makeover

2 Materials
1 Hour

I love pumpkins! I'd like to have them everywhere. But, I've been working hard at controlling myself....

All around, you can buy pumpkins. Especially at my favorite store, Homesense. But. I'm also cheap. And thrifty.

So, off to the dollar store I go!

I found lots. But of course, they were orange. I don't do orange. Especially at my cottage.

Cute right? But just not my colors.

Paint to the rescue! I used chalk paint, for this project, I knew it would be easy and quick.

Two coats and good to go. I didn't seal it with anything yet. I was in a hurry, but I will just because with chalk paint, if anyone picks it up, whatever oils they have will transfer over. I've seen it time and time again.

And here they are! I've put them all over, mixed with other pumpkins and decor. It's a really easy, cheap way to add some Fall decor to your place and also be able to tailor it to your own color scheme.

What do you think?

It's so easy to just add them anywhere around the house for a pop of Fall.

I'm still working on my buffet display but this is what I've got for now.
