Dollar Tree Pumpkin Makeover
I saw these pumpkins at the Dollar Tree, but really didn't want neon orange with my Autumn decor. I pulled out some leftover spray paint, wall putty and shine glaze and voila - a pumpkin that works from Halloween to Thanksgiving!
The original pumpkin....
Uh-Oh!
After the first coat the gaps were much more evident. I grabbed some wall putty (like to fill in nail holes) and smoothed it over the seams. I let this dry, buffed it smooth with my fingers, and repainted.
