This is a two sided pumpkin that is super easy to make from the self adhesive wall tiles that you can find at the Dollar Tree. It's not expensive to make and looks super cute!

Let's get started...

We will be making this two sided pumpkin. Trust me, it's easy!

What you’ll need:

Raffia

Self-adhesive tile

A pumpkin sign

Dark wax and clear wax (I used Annie Sloan)

Sharpie marker

Sanding block

Scissors

Greens

Hot glue gun

We will start by laying out the pumpkin sign on the tile.

Then use your Sharpie to trace around it.

Next, cut out the pumpkin shape from your tile.

Then take it outside to spray paint it. I used white spray paint.

I then used dark wax and clear wax together so it didn't show up too dark. I rubbed it all over the tile texture. You can use a brush or a rag to do this. If it gets too dark, just use some more clear wax to rub it off.

Next, I used my sanding block to lightly go over the texture to take some of the wax off.

Like this.

Then I embellished both sides with the raffia.

On this side I added some greens too. You can get totally creative with it and add whatever embellishments you like!

I just love how it came out! It looks very shabby chic and looks great with my other pumpkin decor.

These are so pretty! I can't wait to make some. I am going to also try making some bats with them for Halloween as I think they would make some interesting looking patterns on them. Oh and also some snowflakes for Christmas and for the winter!

I have never seen at $1 tree. But I have no idea when this post was created. Here in 2023, the many $1 trees in my area have very little items to sell even at $5. Just paper products. It’s just not as much fun to go there anymore. No joy in discovery or surprise finds such as faux metal wall tiles as much anymore
