Let me show you how easy it is to make a farmhouse style wood bead pumpkin with a dollar store pumpkin, wood beads and a hot glue gun. The best thing is, it can be made in under 15 minutes!

Every year I try to make a few new pumpkins to add to my ever growing DIY pumpkin collection. I will share some links at the end of this post to some of my favorites if you want to check them out. Let me show you how quick this wood bead pumpkin came together.

Wood Bead Pumpkin

SUPPLIES

This is the dollar store pumpkin I started with. All you do to make this cute wood bead pumpkin is to hot glue the beads to cover the entire pumpkin. You can add them horizontally or vertically, whichever you choose. You can see the stem that is on the pumpkin is too small, so I just added a larger wood stick from my yard.

Once the pumpkin is completely covered with wood beads, add fall leaves or any embellishments you would like. I added a small cotton stem to add to the farmhouse look that I was going for.

Can you smaller beads, or do you need the larger ones for dramatic effect? Does look really nice
