Nail Head Pumpkins

My husband loves math, I was inspired to decorate some pumpkins for him!
I started with a few white pumpkins fresh from the farm stand down the road.
I researched the symbols that I wanted to use, and drew them on the pumpkins with a number 2 lead pencil. The lines are there, they are just covered with the nail heads. There is a joke in this pumpkin decor, do you see it? Pumpkin.....(fill in the blank)
The upholstery nail heads were pushed in place by hand, it wasn't hard to do. I like the copper color of them with the white pumpkin. More info on the blog.

Great idea. I have a can full of upholstery tacks that have changed color. I painted some Elmers glue on them and then slathered them with black glitter that says BOO! This season is so much fun getting my brain filled with so many projects. HAPPY HAUNTING.
