Where can I find crystal prisms?

Still looking for crystal prisms to hang from a teapot spout for outside? Craft stores dont carry them and want to find them without metal rings (so they wont rust outside) Even a single prism would workAny suggestions??

Have you checked Amazon Cindylou? I found some there. Lots of choices and prices. Hobby Lobby and JoAnn's have Swarovski beads that you could use to string your own runs of crystal prisms. WalMart even has some clear beads/prisms.

You could coat the metal rings in rustproof spray paint!

How about big glass beads and fishing line to attach them? Here is the idea:

I also think they would look wonderful "pouring" from a watering can!

  • Try an antique store or thrift store.

Thanks for the suggestions. Michaels and hobby lobby don’t carry, I was online and looking for beads that don’t have the metal rings, so they won’t rust in the rain. Also my 4 thrift stores don’t have them YET will keep looking. Big project, as I have 6 teapots

Check out a site called Wish.com. I have seen them on there. They ship from China so it takes awhile to get them. You will find many of the same items on Amazon, often with faster shipping and higher prices. Use key words like crystal, chandelier parts, prisms when searching on either site.

    Hi Cindylou,

Why not use chandelier christal's and either seal the holes or change the wire for fishing line (It will be invisible).............Best wishes.

Check in the beads at the craft stores. I have seen similar items for necklaces and such and they don't have metal rings on them. You could also find one on Amazon.

Hi ! Craft stores like Michael's should have what you need in the hearing or jewelry making department . They are usually strung on a piece of fishing line , just cut the line and you will have a bunch of loose crystals . Also you can go to an antique store and ask if they have any loose crystals , they usually have a box of assorted crystals .

This is where I go to get crystals for jewelry projects and for Christmas tree ornaments .
