How can I fix a faded decorative plant?

Hi I got an artificial plant .it had dust so I tried cleaning but added hot water by mistake.the leaves got wilted and the leaves colour are fadedPls suggest what should I try ,like which dye should be used to get the leaves back to the original green colour.Thanks

I would simply wait out but provide your plant lots of light. It will come back to its glory
Hi Kit, a spray paint in the green that you like might work or, perhaps, a clear sealant spray paint would bring back some of the color that was lost.
Buy two-10 packs of markers at Dollar Tree.
Buy a pack of 4 colors of food coloring at DT.
In a big mixing bowl, make a muted green with 2 cups water, 3-4 drops green, one red & 2-3 yellow. Dip a Qtip in it to see how the color looks to you. Adjust as required. The red reduces the chroma.
When happy with the overall color put the “plants” in the bowl for 3-5 mins & let them drain on rags or waxed paper, then dry.
The next day, take the markers and hand “paint” any missing details.
Use some Olive oil and it will be restore with it. I would dust it off first.
I would try FolkArt Ultra dye and dab it on with a little sponge.

I would spray paint it and then use green paint to add 'light/shadow' to the leaves to make them look more real.
Just get some green paint and paint them
