Hello there,
Are you looking for a Stove?
Take a look here and see if this is what your are asking about:
https://www.pinterest.com/MarkKelty/fireplace-hearth/
A fireplace hearth can be made of various material like, brick, stone, granite, marble, tile, etc. It can be raised or flat on the floor. It should extend 16 inches out from the fireplace opening and at least 8 inches from each side.
Here's a post that might help - https://www.fireplacedoorsonline.com/what-is-a-fireplace-hearth.html#:~:text=A%20hearth%20is%20normally%20a,roll%20out%20of%20the%20fireplace.

Please repost your inquiry in the form of a sentence. No one knows if you want to hang a heart on the fireplace of if you want a help with a hearth. Very different words.
I went with tile for my hearth. Brick is a popular option.
Not sure I understand what you're asking, but here's a link to hearts/fireplaces just in case you really ae asking about that.

not sure what kind of hearth but here is a post https://repurposelifeblog.com/how-to-build-a-raised-fireplace-hearth/
Hello Blaireau, if you have gaps to close I would use a caulking in those areas, an outdoor caulk close to the color of the hearth, I think you want it to go unnoticed and blend in, if they are larger you could go with a corner round type of finish, stain it to look the same as the hearth. Hope this helps you out.
