  Excellent! I get the weighted blanket. When I was a kid we had a "heavy" blanket and I couldn't sleep without it. Years later they discovered the benefits of weighted blankets for various types of ailments. You are such a wonderful grandma! If you need more sites, let me know. 🤗

Hi there, I have never heard of a weighted blanket so I am going to check out the sites that Naomie gave you. I am so curious about it now.

  I use one for my PTSD. I have a granddaughter who is autistic that rests SO much better under my blanket! My grandson, who is 8, says it makes him feel "safe". Mine cost $200 and I can't afford that x 2! I hope this new knowledge for you is beneficial.

  It has been eye opening. I wish I had known about these when my granddaughter was smaller because she had nightmares a lot. I did enjoy reading about it though and you just never know when it will come in handy.

Sym Hello,. Try some goose down filler. Make 12x12 squares, them sew them together. I has one of these for my bed as a child, their weighted and are very warm. Aloha!

The sites already listed provide good directions and the purposes for a weighted blanket. They can be made to look very nice for different age groups and purposes.
