Hi Elizabeth. I did one of these at another house years ago. Just hang the curtain rod at the height you want using brackets at either end and use any lightweight fabric over that. This type of fun headboard allows you to easily change the look of the headboard depending on the fabric you use. I hope that helps.

BUT I didn't use 2 rods I used one and let the bottom hand free and let it tuck behind the mattress and I also used just one panel not 3 just FYI
