Hi Joan for my Grandpa's grave we found very heavy duty shepherds hooks that we were able to sink in tightly to either side of his headstone so they look like their practically a part of the head stone itself. Occasionally we put wreaths on them and zip tie them down to the hooks.
here is info for both

We use wire that comes in a roll and have driven stakes into the ground that have a small hole to run the wire through. Check with the cemetery to make sure it is ok for anchors. Sorry for your loss.
Hello,
I don't know if this will help: You can buy Tent Stakes that may be the answer!

Here is the piece for the base. It attaches to the gravestone to secure it. https://amzn.to/385VhHl
Depending where you want to put these they sell garden anchors that could help you anchor the wreath in the ground against the gravestone.
Be sure to check first what is allowed. Some cemeteries have restrictions and will remove them. Good luck and stay safe!

It is a great idea to honor your family members with wreaths on their graves. You can use floral wire or zipper ties to attach the wreath to the headstone but don't damage it. To make a hanger, you can use wire or twine to create a loop that can slip over the monument. As for the design, you can choose materials and colors that are meaningful to your family or a seasonal theme. You can also install a Bench Headstone, which is a great way to honor your loved ones. Good luck, and I hope your family appreciates your efforts.
Differnet cemetaries have different rules regarding what is acceptable and not.
Hey, thanks a lot for your ideas, folks. It's been more than 2 years since my dad passed away, and tbh, I can't still believe it. But such things as choosing the granite color brings me back to reality, you know. Btw, how did you choose the color? Is there one that looks good despite the fact that it's getting old?
Hey, I'm new to this forum, but I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for your loss. It's tough losing a loved one, and it's totally understandable that even choosing a granite color can bring up memories and emotions.
Hey, I'm new to this forum, but I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for your loss. It's tough losing a loved one, and it's totally understandable that even choosing a granite color can bring up memories and emotions. As for choosing a color, I personally haven't had to do that yet, but I've heard that Bahama Blue Granite Color Sample is a popular choice. It's supposed to hold up well over time and still look great even as it ages. But ultimately, the color you choose should be one that you and your family feel good about. It's a personal decision, and there's no right or wrong answer. Just take your time, and go with what feels right for you.
