No Sanding, No Mess, Non Toxic, Hard Wood Floor Refinishing
Good news is that floor finishes are way better than they were years ago. It really depends on how deep your pockets are. There are some great long lasting finishes with aluminum oxide that wear and wear. I just used a (relatively) inexpensive water based floor coating in my dining room where traffic is low. Looks great. Make sure to buy a product made for floors. Easily? You can use a paint roller on a long stick. How's that for easy?

Minwax is a good product. I don't know if there is an "easy" way to refinish them, it kind of labor intensive, if you want them to look nice. Sand them, starting with a lower (rougher) grit and work your way up to a high grit, vacuuming and wiping the flooring down in between sanding. Be sure to sand with the grain of the wood, if you sand across it can leave gouges that can be pretty unsightly once they are stained. Stain them the color you want, letting them dry completely before moving on. Once you get to the poly stage you will want to do it as quick and evenly as you can, letting dry completely and sanding with a high grit, then wiping down. You will probably want 2 or 3 coats of poly for looks and durability.
