Hello you might consider buying wire fencing at the hardware store to make cages. What fabrication you use might depend on the actual size of your skeletons.

It depends on the size you want to build. If life size, I would build from plywood and use some type of straps or bungee cords for the vertical jail "bars".

Hi Myra. I recently saw a DIY skeleton jail. And most of the components car be purchased at the Dollar Tree. Get yourself 2 identical laundry baskets. You can spray paint them both black. Put a skeleton inside one basket and then glue the other basket upside down on top of the first one. You can use string to position the skeleton inside the jail. Use a chain to hang it.
