How do I make my candles not sink in the middle?

Im trying to make scented candles, I'm totally new at this. I have the wick and everything ready. When the wax dries, there is a sunken place in the middle. How do prevent this

Once it sets you can add a little more wax to the center.
I buy quart milk in cartons and pour hot wax over ice cubes in empty cartons and can tint them with food coloring no pools in wax. Old trick from the 50.s
