Washi tape can even be found at Walmart or online.

Washi tape is colorful patterned paper tape. It's texture is similar to masking tape, but the rolls are usually much thinner.

Washi tape stickers, that peel off the rolls in single pieces, are now available.

Used to be on hobby and craft stores only, I think, but now they can be found almost everywhere. Really grown in popularity. The kids love to use them to design their art projects.
