How can I update oiled bronze cabinet hardware?

I have Oiled Bronze door and cabinet hardware. What is the best process and paint to use to update this hardware?

Super clean the finish, starting with degreaser, rinsing & hand drying with latex gloves hands.
then hand clean with 70% alcohol & fresh gloved hands.
i typically punch small holes in a big piece of cardboard and screw the screws into the holes from the back. This holds them on the cardboard.
then I spray paint them, first using a spray sandable primer. Keep the nozzle 12” away.
Practice finding the “flash point” where it’s wet enough to dry glossy, but it doesn’t sag or run.
