One of my favorite is covering small vases or large mugs with some "marble" look. I buy any nail polish I find on sale to repeat the process. Here is one that is about valentines day, but there is a video showing how to do it towards the end. You might enjoy watching the process. You can dye cups and saucers.Put some nail polish in water and add cups to dye them.

figureens, paint them with different color nail polish.
