What do you add to nail polish to make it more liquid?

Haven't used an nail polish for a while & it thicken. Can I add ie acetone?? Or something else To make it fluid again?

I think there’s a product to thin nail polish “lacquer thinner” try running bottle under hot water for a quick fix.

You can use nail polish remover, the one with acetone.

You can but a small bottle of nail polish thinner at Walgreens or Sally Beauty Supply. A few drops into your bottle. Shake & it’s like new. A 4oz. bottle will last forever. I’ve heard not to use acetone, but can’t remember why.
