What kind of tape can i use to form a lip to hold in epoxy resin?

I have a functioning one piece resin?, faux marble, cream and tan colored bathroom sink/counter top in place that I would like to use as a base for an epoxy resin pour over the sand/shells/pebbles/painted sea life that I would place there, making it look like the ocean floor, but as the scalloped sink is integrated I would need to tape it off, as well as the leading edge and one side, to form a lip so the resin doesn't flow over those edges. Is there a tape I can use for this that would release from the resin afterwards? Also, am I correct in assuming there'd be no problem with the resin's ability to adhere to the counter top.

what ever surface you don’t want the resin to stick to , I ve used Vasiline .
