It depends what type of diy's you're planning on doing. If you're doing big projects you would be better with a larger more heavy duty type, but if you're doing stuff like crafts and smaller things then you won't need a big glue gun

Gorilla glue has a new one coming out that is amazing. It sits up without falling over and works with both low temp and high temp glue. I was very impressed with it.
