You might try pallets
Depending on the look you are going for, you could use bender board (available at most home centers), or even furring strips. These are thin and lightweight, and could be mounted as a backsplash to give you a reclaimed wood look.
Marge is right. Here is a link of just some of the things you can do with your reclaimed wood. Most of them are pallets. But I would call the local "resell" stores that tear down houses for recycling. Also you could call your local lumber yard. Good luck!
