I would probably go with a thin bead of silicone caulk, and tape the trim in place to try overnight. When the day comes to remove it, you might prefer something easier
I don't like liquid nails. Try PL200 Adhesive.

Yes but remember that permanent and if n the future you change it out you will need a jack hammer to get that off, I ran into this and it turn out to be a total gut job, ugh
