Hey Hometalkers! Amber Oliver here with another great craft for your home! If you like this project, I hope you'll stop by my blog! This is the perfect way to display your house number on your home OR a fun way to commemorate a home. This would make a lovely housewarming gift or a creative way to honor your first home. Using resin ensures a professional finish that will be long lasting!
You can easily customize this project to suit your style. The necessary items needed are a wooden sign (with a lip - this holds in the resin!), House numbers, and resin.
The first thing I did was stain the wood sign. You could do the same or maybe you'd rather paint? Want a pop of color? Add colorful scrapbook paper on the background - just be sure to seal before you add your resin!
Once the wooden sign is ready - glue your house numbers in place. I also added a wooden cut out that had our last name on it. Again - customize how you like!

Now it's time for resin! Start by mixing EQUAL parts of the Hardener and the Resin. Stir for two minutes (be sure to scrape the bottoms and sides) then pour from the first cup into a second and mix with a new stir stick for another minute.

Once it’s ready, pour directly onto your wood sign!
Allow the resin to set based on the package instructions - some climates may take longer to set (because of humidity, etc.)

Once the sign is done you will have a beautiful finish that seals in your project!
