Hi, I'm Amber Oliver! I hope if you enjoy this project you'll also stop by my blog!

Don't throw away that sweater with a hole in it! clean out your closet or visit the thrift shop so you can recreate these adorable sweater upcycles! I'll show you two different ways I took old sweaters and recycled them into cute home decor items for my house!

For this project I started with a holey sweater. I cut off the arms, then measured and marked before cutting out a small section. I repeated all the way up the arm to cut out multiple sections.

You could always hem the edges here or tuck under and glue, but I just pulled away all the fuzzies. I then slid it over a glass vase and glued on the bottom to secure.

This made a colorful centerpiece for the coffee table!

The cuffs on the arms of this cable knit sweater make the perfect decorative candle cozies.

It doesn't get much simpler than this - just cut them carefully off the sweater...

...and slip them over your favorite candles!
