Also just in time for the challenge of the week. To do a project I've been wanting to do. I got this basket from a friend who didn't like it. And for same reason as she I changed it up because with all the holes or spaces stuff kept falling out or sticking out of the holes. This project is very easy to do. Grab your glue gun and just glue scrap material around it.Another way to recycle something into a basket your going want to display. I will be using this basket however to hold my great niece bath stuff and hair and nail polish. She comes over for over night stays and I needed a creative way to store her stuff for her in my spear bedroom. So the basket sits in the corner but at the same time looks nice. And because it has a handle she can carry it to the bathroom. It's just me and my guy so we have our stuff in medicine cabinet. And because 12 years Olds like their own stuff it won't be in the way of our stuff.
My basket and glue gun and scrap material I had.
String of gold beads I got from a Christmas clearance sale.
I started with the indside. I glue the material under the rim. Add a piece to each four sides and then do the bottom.
All four sides are done and I will put a piece for the bottom and then repeated the process on the outside and then on the handle. And then apply the beads on the outside. In the next picture you will see finish project. I wrapped the beads around the basket in three rows.
And here is the finish project. However waiting on some butterflies buttons to come in so I can glue them on in different spots. Also ran out of glue sticks so another trip to the craft store.
