A Memorable Chandelier Repurposed!

This has been on my garage shelf for about twelve years, it hung over my moms dining table for as far back as I can remember. When the wiring went bad, my dad took it down and was going to do away with it. I rescued it, mostly because as light as it is, it had around two hundred prisms on it. Once a year my mom would take them all off, hand wash them and put them back on.
I took the light section out of the middle, a bit harder than I thought it would be, since the bolts were rusty. When I was scrubbing the side that goes against the ceiling, I couldn't help but laugh, because something I remember to be so elegant looked a whole lot like a hub cap. But, I carried on!
I like to try and use what I have on hand if possible, so I gave it, the three light socket covers and the rings that held more prisms two coats of this white spray paint.
I also had Modern Masters silver metallic paint, so I dry brushed it on all the pieces.
I went searching around the house for something to go in the center and found the tiny pot plants, moss and candles. I didn't glue the moss or anything down, so I could change it up occasionally. I took some of the prisms apart, cleaned them and attached them.
It's so nice my moms chandelier has new life after all this time!
I took the rings from the chandelier and attached them with the chain to form the sun catcher.
I guess more prism projects are in the future, since there are so many left over. Any suggestions?

I am lucky enough to have a woman cave, 10x10 cabin a short distance from the house. I gathered wild grapevines from the woods and arranged with chain all around on the ceiling. Then the hard part, I decorated the grapevine with pink miniature lights. It looked great but seemed to need just another touch. What?? Aha, I hung prisms all around the vines! It looks so elegant with the pink lights reflecting through the prisms!

@Carol Ann Please post pic's if possible! I'd love to see it, That sounds like something I could do in my future shop. If we ever get it open, we're remodeling a small 1940's cottage style home, we don't move as fast as we use to! Lol.
