There are so many things that I’m grateful for. Our kids, both human and furry, our friends and family and the beautiful weather we're having right now. So to remind me of all that’s good and beautiful in my life I made these little JOY blocks.
They’re really easy to make. All you need is a left over piece of 2 x 2 of wood, a glue gun and some aluminium tape. If you can’t find aluminium tape, duct tape will work just as well.
Cut the 2 x 2 into 3 squarish blocks and use a glue gun to write the letters J, O and Y on each of the squares.
Please excuse the wobbly O. I don't know what it is about a glue gun, sometimes I'm super confident and other times, I get the silly shakes. When the glue's dried wrap the squares in tape and use an ear bud to smooth the tape around the letters.
What makes this such a fun DIY is that you can write anything you like on the blocks of wood. I'd love to hear what you think. Wishing you all a joyful beautiful week.
