I have a rock obsession and I don't care who knows it.
This obsession led me to purchase a bunch of Amethyst chip beads years ago thinking I was going got be making jewelry.
Well that didn't happen so I made this instead.
This obsession led me to purchase a bunch of Amethyst chip beads years ago thinking I was going got be making jewelry.
Well that didn't happen so I made this instead.
Start with a frame. I choose one that was matted for more of an impact. I also put gray card stock in the frame as a background to make the Amethyst stand out.
Then with a glue gun, I "drew" a heart and dropped the beads onto the hot glue. After I had the initial shape of the heart I filled in the beads where needed.
I love the texture and statement it adds to our master bedroom. Great for Valentines Day too!
