Here's a totally random craft material for you -- astro turf. Yep, you heard right. Learn how to make a fun and durable outdoor pillow out of the same stuff burly football players and fast-moving soccer players play all day on.
Determine the size of your pillow. Since my astro turf came on a roll, I folded one side over and cut to size, leaving some extra for a "hem". (If you've made a pillow before, this is similar...except for the turf part.)
Use a staple gun to secure one side of the pillow. Repeat for the second side. Remember to leave one end open for stuffing.
Once all sides are stapled, roll the turf right side out and push out the corners. Since this is an outdoor pillow, I opted to stuff it with garbage bags. Once stuffed, I folded the raw edges over and stapled shut in the above manner.
