Basket Planter To Fill That Awkward Corner

I was at Michaels pondering my next project, and I saw these amazing faux plants for half off- and thought SCORE! Until I looked at the sad little plastic bucket at the bottom and knew I had to upgrade that (on a dime). QUE BASKET DISPLAY!
I saw the basket display and inspiration hit.
I dragged my giant fake tree and basket all the way back to Brooklyn. I recieved many odd looks, but I knew it would be worth it.
I got home and knew that spot that needed it most. This sad little empty corner between my TV and my front door. It has always drove me NUTS and I never knew what to put there.
Also kitty photo bomb from Binx.
I stuck the plant in the basket and BOOM instant zero maintenance house plant with a $5 "planter basket."

I laughed at your story about dragging it. It reminded me of when I bought my 7' wicker shelf , and brought it home in a small shopping cart. I almost got blown away by the wind, and people found me quite entertaining...lol
