So my husband, daughter and I went kayaking to a beautiful park about two minutes from my house. I was searching for the perfect piece of beach wood to make a votive holder!!I have seen these in stores but they are so expensive so I wanted to make one of my own. My hubby found the perfect piece!
Here is the piece of wood! I bleached, scrubbed and then dried it out in the sun. Make sure all of the critters are out of the wood!
I sealed it with polycrylic.
We drilled down a little bit to hold you holder
I set some shells on it!
And voila! Done. If you like this project please like our Facebook page Sierra Stars Furniture and Gifts and give us a like on Facebook! Thank you!!!
