This is again a trash to treasure kinda project. I love to make things for my little garden to make it more colorful, beautiful and interesting. I have been hoarding these broken tea cups for a while and finally decided to put them to use.

Here's what I made.

Lets see how I made this.

I took few broken tea cups and caps and lids

I tried arranging them one on top of each other to form a hut shape.

I then glued the caps and lids to the tea cup using glue gun

Made another one by arranging different sizes of lids to form a conical shape and glued a crystal on top

I used white cement and water to form a smooth soft dough. You can also use air dry clay.

I covered the uneven top part of the tea cup with this dough sheet to form a proper shape and make them smooth.

Then I gave it some rugged, hut texture using toothpick.

I glued two tea cups together for one hut. We have our cute huts. Its time to paint

I added baking soda to the paint to form a grainy, rough texture and painted the huts.

used different color for the thatched top part.

Painted few windows and doors on both fairy huts. And finally gave few coats of varnish as they will be placed outdoors.

This is how they turned out. Very cute and a great way to upcycle trash.

aren't they cute

So pretty in my fairy garden.

Hope you like this trash to treasure craft. Watch the video for a detailed tutorial.
