Can You Make a Coral Bowl With Chicken Wire?
Hi hometalk community! Today I share with you my recent project that will probably surprise you as you will get an high end look using chicken wire.Basically all you have to do is to cut and bend the wire in the shape of your choice, and then cover it with clay.

Supplies: Chicken Wire-Wire Cutters- Airdry Clay - Paint in the color of your choice (optional) - Varnish
Unroll your wire
place the bowl that you will use as your mould on the wire.
Bend the wire to to give it a bowl shape.
Cut of the Excess Wire.
I did not struggle hard to give it a symmetrical shape, rather I liked it asymmetrical as it gives my bowl a designer accent.
Now grab your air dry clay and cover the wire with it. I had terracota color clay so I used it. You may use white clay or any color you like.
If you are ok with the color, you may varnish it now.
Or you may paint it with the color of your choice. I painted it white, acrylic or multi surface paint would be fine.
you may also use spray paint
It's done and I love it! It turned out just the way I wanted it to look, do you like it? Would you give it a try?
