Check Out How To Repurpose Packing Material From All Those Deliveries
This may be one of my favorite re-purpose projects. Wait until you see how to re-purpose packing material found inside all of those shipping boxes.
Let's go!
You know the packing the material that is tucked between items? The brown paper that my husband instinctively throws into the kitchen trash can (and not the recycle bin in the garage).
When I see brown paper and cardboard packing material all I see are future blogs posts.
I love this simple re-purpose idea and the story behind how it happened.
Curious?
SUPPLIES TO REPURPOSE PACKING MATERIAL
Supplies: glue or adhesive spray, books (I used a hardback book) & scissors.
This project works great with a large hardback book. Of course, you have to account for the packing material (not all packing material is tear free).
This next step is where you may need to get creative with sizing and positioning depending on the dimensions of the packing material. I had just enough to cover the entire dictionary jacket cover.
Spray adhesive or glue onto the jacket's outside jacket and the inside front and back jacket.
The back side of the dictionary was just a little short, but that's easily hidden when stacked.
The adhesive dries quickly.
You guys I love it.
The ridged packing material adds a little texture and durability compared to a roll of brown wrapping paper.
You will never look at the familiar brown or waffle weave white packing material in the same way.
I hope you are inspired to recycle everyday packing materials and boxes.
Please check out my other recycle projects on my blog. The link below will take you there! Thank you!
