We are far from the best chefs or bakers, but that doesn't mean that we don't like to eat our fair share of cookies! Today's project combines a few of our favorite things...mason jars and cookies.

This is a great gift idea for any person in your life during the holiday season...the neighbors, a teacher, a friend...heck this DIY gift will work for just about anyone!
It's a cookie recipe in a mason jar, complete with a free printable to tie around the jar! You can buy lots of the ingredients to make plenty of mason jar cookie gifts this holiday season.

Here's what you'll need to do.
Grab a mason jar and all of the ingredients for these chocolate chip cookies! You can change the color of the M&M's to red and green for the holiday season to make these super cute and colorful!

Be sure to pack everything in real tight so it all fits in the jar!

You can then use burlap and string to cover the lid of the jar. Or just grab some ribbon to wrap around the top.
Then, head over to this blog post to download this free printable for the cookies! It showcases both the ingredients and the instructions to bake the cookies.
It's seriously that easy!

We hope you love creating these special gifts this holiday season. They're affordable, thoughtful, and will make any person in your life feel the love (plus, there is always the chance that your friend will bake the cookies and share them with you)

You can get cookbook's for the jar gifts. They have soups, cookies, cakes, drinks, spices. I would make different ones for different people plus my potato candy for Christmas. Haven't had to do it for 2 yrs now. Moved cross country & don't know my neighbors & my family don't get together for Christmas. Merry Christmas everyone.
