Here is a cute craft I did with things around the house!
I had found this vase holder on clearance somewhere and didn't know what I was going to do with it but had to have it! I was looking at it the other day and came up with a cute idea with things I already had around the house!I gathered up my supplies which consisted of my wood flowers from Sola Flowers, my Unicorn SPiT and some filler.
The first thing I did was get a bowl of warm water and dipped each of the raw flowers in the bowl. I dabbed off the excess water with a paper towel.
I then grabbed two more bowls of water and my Unicorn SPiT. I added the SPiT to each of the bowls. There wasn't an exact measurement I just squirted some and mixed it up! Easy!
I placed the flowers face down first and let them sit for a couple of minutes, turned them over and let them sit for a couple of minutes again.
For this one I wanted a two toned look so I dipped 1/2 in the red and 1/2 in the yellow.Once they dried I plugged in my glue gun gathered some stems that I had off of some fake flowers in the house and filled the vases up with the filler I had.
Fill the jar up as little or as much as you want. I didn't want the stem to be prominent so I added as much as I could.
I added a dab of glue around the stem the then inserted it into the back of the flower.
And here it is! I think it turned out super cute!
