This is a hanging phone charging case. I think everyone would like something unique, and different. So I made this hanging phone case. It will hold most phones, because the pocket I used is a good size. A lot of people enjoy this type of stuff.
These are the Items I used to put this project all together. We all want cool ideas for charging our phones. I thought this would be a convenient way to do so. I used an old pair of Blue Jeans, and cut off the pockets. Made sure to trim the fabric around the edges of the pockets really good. This made it look really clean.
This is the step where I hand sewed the buttons on to the front side pocket. The pockets are not yet sewed together yet. I also used a little bit of fabric tack on the large button and the 2 on the belt loops. This was so the the buttons layed flat, plus stayed tight to the denim. Then I also put a piece of foam board into the holder to make it stiff. Because when it was hanging from the plug the weight of the phone made it a little bunched up.
This is me sewing the two pocket pieces together, and also the strap that it hangs from. I used cream colored thread so it would blend in with the stitching already on the pockets.
And here is the finished product, hanging from the plug with the cord inside the case also. Theres room enough to put a charging cord inside the case also as long as its not too long.

What type of foam did you put inside for stiffener?
Didn’t you have problems sewing threw all this denim? . Any suggestions? What size needle did you use. My machine is 12 years old...is this the problem?
