This easy DIY farmhouse mason jar craft can be made in a few hours. These mason jars look so pretty filled with blooming wildflowers!

You can use either quart jars or smaller pint jars for this farmhouse craft idea.

NOTE: The only reason this is a multi hour project is the drying time!

Everything you need!

Mix together the baking soda and acrylic paint. You want a nice thick consistency when mixed.

Next paint the mason jar, allowing for time to dry between coats. The drying time is important!

When the jar is completely dry, start wrapping your jute twin around the top of the jar. Tie the leftover string in a simple bow.

Next using the Q-tip and Waverly white chalk paint, start creating the daisy flowers.

For special tips you Need to Know, you can find them on our website.

Create as many flowers around the jar that you want. Allow to dry completely, add some flowers and set your vase on display.

Here’s the finished chalk paint mason jar – I love it! Looks great sitting on a small wood slab on our kitchen counter

That counter? PAINTED! Yup! Want to see how we did that? Here’s how to paint counters to look like granite.
