This is an easy-to-make beautiful showpiece or bouquet made from dried flowers, seedpods and pine cones. Add a little spray paint, and done!
First, gather your supplies. Collect dried flowers, poppy seeds, pine cones and seedpods from trees. Then let them sit and dry completely.
Then you're gonna want to spray them with gold acrylic spray paint (You can use other colours too, but gold stands out quite well. Try silver and bronze too). Make sure you have the entire area you are working on covered with old newspapers in a well-ventilated area before you start.

Next, for the foam! Colour the florist's sponge with dark brown acrylic paint. Do not brush fiercely as the sponge might start to crumble. Once, you've painted the whole thing, leave it to dry.
Once the coloured flora are dry, break them off, and arrange them as you would a bouquet of flowers.
You can use the smaller ones to cover the base of the sponge.
Gently push the branches of the flowers in to the foam to keep them in place. If any foam crumbles just dust away the crumbs. Your dried floral bouquet is now ready to adorn your home!
How pretty?
I love it!

beautiful, I love this- one thing though...."fauna" means animals. "The flora and fauna of New England" means plant and animal life. So "arranging dried fauna" is not a nice mental image at all! Your project is lovely though and explained very well
