Displaying Meaningful Corks

I have a collection of corks that have been landmark events in our lives ... our wedding, anniversary, birth of our children, etc. I wanted a way to display them and enjoy them.
I bought a large champagne style vase at Michael's. You can use any container that inspires you - re-purpose, recycle, etc.
If you want you can label your corks so that you can read through your wonderful memories and create conversations.
Place the corks in the vase. Add your candle - I have used a jar candle and it works great. Currently I purchased a battery operated flicker candle from the Dollar Tree and put that in there.
Find a place to display it.
Mine has moved around a lot over the years. It's currently on a shelf in my dining room. Enjoy the ambiance it creates, the wonderful memories, as well as great conversations.

I also write dates and events on corks!! I just have mine in a bowl just now though. This is a great idea!! Thank you for sharing!
