Dollar Tree Peel Stick Stickers make beautiful canvas stick artwork for your home . If you love to create beautiful wall galleries these canvases are the perfect touch.
Step 1
Apply painter's tape to the canvas.  You can do stripes or a chevron design.
Step 2
Paint away from the painter's tape edge so the paint does not go underneath the painter's tape edge.   This happens even if you use expensive painter's tape.  Remove the painter's tape immediately after you have finished painting.
Step 3
Apply the stickers to the painted canvas. You can arrange them any way you want.  Add a coat of mod podge if you'd like.   If you don't add mod podge you can switch out the stickers any time  you want.   Checkout the video to  see all of the steps.  Now on to the next project.
By the way I placed a book underneath the canvas prior to painting it.  Applying too much pressure  to a canvas can cause it to stretch.
Step 1
For the second project I traced the shape of the heart on the sticker on a sheet of paper.  And I placed the template on my  unpainted canvas.  I used a make-up sponge to apply my metallic paint to the canvas.
Step 2
I removed the template and added the stickers.   I also added some acrylic gems that were left over from a previous project.
The two canvases together are the perfect combination.
I added one of my spheres from a previous DIY.
