Here's a great tutorial to make your own farmhouse style Magnolia Wreath for under $15! So much better than paying $100 for a store bought one. It's so easy, I think I'm going to make a few more to put around the house!

Cute wreaths! But I'm curious as to why you didn't like the sheen of the leaves. Magnolia leaves are known for their waxy appearance. It's the sheen of the leaves that make them so incredible to use in Southern decor. It also is the reason they can be preserved so easily! Also, Hobby Lobby carries these wreaths for 49.99, but they commonly have 50% off on wreaths, which makes them $25! So if anyone wants to find them already made, there's your source! 😊

HI! My bedroom needs a new look! Finish is walnut it dates back to the early 1900 the bed is all wood high headboard 2 dresser how can i give it a new look? my home victorian built 1902 . thank you

Am I missing something? This post starts with "Here is a tutorial for this wreath...", but there isn't one. There is one picture of leaves and then 4 or 5 pictures of the finished wreath. Where is the tutorial?

I lived in Western PA. and we had oaks, pines, hickory nut and walnut trees, along with all the various others. My Mum in law bought a Magnolia and it killed over in no time flat., when the colder weather approached. I'm in the South now for years, and I have a Huge one on the side of my house. THEY are messy, but smell gorgeous.....along with honeysuckle, wisteria, and lagustrum. If I could get you the leaves up there I would!! You would have a little piece of Virginia in your home.....
