DIY Faux Succulent Centerpiece

A $150 tray at Crate & Barrel inspired this DIY centerpiece - instead of going for an as-close-as-possible knockoff, I took inspiration from the styling in the catalog image and ran with it...
I bought a plastic tray at the thrift store for $5 and spray painted it black.


Then, I gathered up my styling supplies - some river rocks, fake mossy stones and faux succulents (I found some on clearance at the craft store!), and white pillar candles.
And arranged them in the tray.
